A staple boutique in Salt Lake City for over 6 years, Mineral and Matter wanted a rebrand to help them start reaching into higher-end markets. Still wanting to pay homage to the old logo that the outdated brand had garnered, we created a refined and more professional identity that pulled inspiration from nature & outer space.

Everyday Shiny Necessities
Mineral and Matter is a Jewelry and Accessories company using nature and outer space to inspire everyday designs which are produced in-house by our women-empowered team. Because they sell in their brick & mortar, online, and as wholesale, the branding needed to be unique enough to stand out, but flexible enough to work within a wide range of stockists.
What started as a rebrand morphed into an ongoing relationship between Mineral & Matter and Hot Slice, giving way to product design ranging from stickers & pins, to jewelry & apothecary lines.
Bringing personality into the space.
Mineral and Matter also has an art nail bar located inside their flagship store, Nova Nail Bar. In order to bring in some color into the primarily white space and celebrate both businesses, we created a store design plan that included custom displays, murals, and painted accents.
